San Ramon, Calif. – March 8, 2016 – Protonet, a leading provider of project management and collaboration solutions, today announced upgraded models of its popular Carla Private Cloud Servers. These new servers are targeted to teams which require a large amount of storage and fast upload performance, such as creative agencies to securely share images and video with contractors and customers. These servers adhere to Protonet’s design goal of delivering easy to use solutions where customers’ data is kept private.
The new Carla models can provide up to 8 cores (16 threads), 128 GB of RAM, and 40 TB of storage. These added capabilities provide Carla with the muscle to run several business applications on a single server. This allows users to choose among available third party applications to run alongside the Protonet SOUL project collaboration software. Protonet’s Software Partner program integrates third party cloud-enabled business applications into the Protonet SOUL platform.
